Does it work with horizontal/vertical-stack?

Hey,
in my config, the gauges don't appear when used in vertical oder horizontal stack. Am I the only one? Is it possible to fix that?

And it would be awesome to be able to use theme variables like var(--primary-text-color) for the lables.. its hard to find a color that fits an light and dark themes
