sent this email to support... ================================================================================== Hello, I've stayed with Maxto Version 1x for a long time because it works fine for moving my windows quickly on Windows 8.1 (as long as I turn transparency off) However, recently I moved to Windows 10 and that version of MaxTo seems to cause big instability in the display at times. So, I installed 2.21....works great EXCEPT I cannot custom define the Maximize to Monitor recipe the way I need. Because of the way I use my trade scalper Charts in fast moving markets, I cannot keep moving my right hand to the center keyboard to invoke a Maxto function. I need that the right hand stays in the keypad area. On Windows 8.1 I used the Alt key as the modifier Alt-Right, Alt-Left, Alt-Up, Alt-Down to move the window, and Alt-Keypad-ENTER to Maximize/Minimize the wiindow. Works good. My right hand could stay on the mouse / near the keypad. I would be happy if I could do the same with the Win modifier in version 2.2.1 but it won't let me map either the Win or the Alt key alone to keypad Enter and if I map, say Ctl-Win-Enter and then press it, I get an error message saying it is stopping because of a possible loop. WHY? Because Aquasnap can map Win-Keypad-Enter and so can Hotkey. Frustrating.... This is really silly...but I can map Win-Keypad-Enter in Hotkeypad to send Win-Alt-M keystrokes, the MaxTo default for Max/Min, and it then works. I would rather not do that, of course. What am I doing wrong? This does not make sense. I only need these five functions move right Thank you, |
don't know if this is a bug...MaxTo version 2.2.1 on Windows 10
I've been running a version 1x for a long time before I recently moved to Win 10...but here it seems too unstable
so I upgraded to Maxto 2.2.1
Looks really nice...BUT I only need these Move Windows Functions (right, left, up, down) AND Max To Screen....
The default keys for the Moves are OK, but the default Max to Screen does not work for me.....I don't want to move my right hand to the center of the keyboard. Want to keep it on the right side...
Because I'm a scalp trader and
So, I want to set the new default Max-to-Screen to be Win-Enter. That would be perfect...I disable the default (Win-Alt-M) but new default does nothing.
How can I fix this?
(Is Windows 10 trapping that combination somehow?) (neither works Ctl-Win-Enter)
Thanks....
