Streaming Legacy Mode

Ring has started using High Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC) in a firmware update for some cameras. While HEVC is efficient, it is not compatible with many streaming platforms, such as HomeKit and most web browsers. You may run into issues when you try to stream via homebridge or other projects based on this project.
Luckily Ring has an easy way to fix this problem - Legacy Mode. If you turn on Legacy Mode for a given camera, it should switch back to the common H264 streaming codec. See this article for details on how to activate Legacy Mode.
