Dear Dr Dmitry Grapov

The website of MetaMapR http://dgrapov.github.io/MetaMapR/ is not available now, is there a new website to use it online?

Looking forward to your reply

Best regards,
Yujia

I guessed they stopped supporting both the app and the R package.
What I found to be useful are these 2 things:

  • A closed issue where a folder (app) is provided to be executed with the shiny package (Issues with Installing MetaMapR #4), didn't work for me though due to the following error:

Package not found, trying Bioconductor...
Error: With R version 3.5 or greater, install Bioconductor packages using BiocManager; see https://bioconductor.org/install

(I have always had trouble with the R version and some packages such as Bioconductor)

I could't install it though, due to the following error:

Error: Failed to install 'metabomapr' from GitHub:
(converted from warning) package ‘ChemmineR’ is not available (for R version 3.6.3)

@benjaminlozanow it means you need to install ChemmineR before. See here https://bioconductor.org/packages/devel/bioc/vignettes/ChemmineR/inst/doc/ChemmineR.html
Then you should be able to proceed with the metabomapr install.
