Migrating media files excruciatingly slow after 2.x update

After updating WP Migrate DB Pro, downloading media files from remote sites is extremely slow. Just now I've had a 300 MB media library take ~19 minutes to download via the plugin.

The same download via SSH or SFTP takes 30 seconds.

Reverting back to WP Migrate DB Pro 1.x reduces the 300 MB media library download to just over a minute.

This is an issue across several different sites, on different servers, hosted with different providers.

Plugin settings on the remote site:

• Request size: 3 MB (Tried 1 MB, 5 MB and 25 MB as well, same result)
• Delay between requests: 0 seconds

@ZeldOcarina I resorted to only using WP Migrate to move the database over, and then did the media files manually.

Yeah Wordpress migrations are always a pain.. :(
