My understanding of imread() is that it loads the image in cv2 color format BGR if the flag is not set. But please correct me if I am wrong.
It is also my understanding that if no color match sample is provided, frame 0 is taken as the sample. And please correct me if I am wrong. |

@kabachuha This is what I mean that we need to allow the user to be able to provide the color match sample in the webui version. |

I am making an assumption that Deforum notebook contains problems that we are identifying in the webui version. My belief is that we cannot sync with the notebook because of underlying issues that should be pushed to the notebook instead of synchronizing changes towards the notebook. That is IMHO. So we will persist on changing the notebook instead of synchronizing with it. |

Technically, to be the same, it would have to grab the first frame's color sample. But, since it's last frame was color matched against that initial sample, it should be close! Using a custom color match sample fixes that issue entirely though. My new color_coherence="Video Input" fixes it in a similar fashion, by matching against each corresponding video frame (with or without using the video for compositing). |

Should the Color be converted, if it is not specified in the imread() function?
Should the color_match_sample = frame 0 image, not the current frames image? If a colormatch sample is provided should it not then be the user supplied sample?
Just my curiosity and fixing issues in the webui version that lead me here to discuss this.
