None value upon running test code on raspi4 with zebra ms4717 #23

Hey,
I am trying to use zebra ms4717 barcode scanner on raspberry pi 4
I have installed the zebra SDK and verified its installation.
When i try to run the example code
First i get the dict attribute error ,if i comment that part then it says found a new error but shows no info regarding it , printing some of the the attributes like id or serial it returns empty or None.
Any help would be appreciated

Also trying to run this on a Pi4 and running into issues.
