I placed an inline code block inside a section heading.
What did you expect?
That the text in the inline code block would be easily identifiable as being different from the normal text in the section header.
What did you see instead?
The text in the header as presented as part of the page (i.e. on the right) is only distinguished through its fixed-width font, and not through a background colour change:
Because the fixed-width font and the normal font are extremely similar, the text as presented in the page isn't distinguishable (to my eye). The different fonts and very slight background colour change in the TOC (on the left of the screenshot) makes that rendering of the two different portions more recognisable.
I propose that inline code blocks in headings should be styled with the same background colour that they get given in normal page text.
