Our governance documents are on google docs, where they are not intuitive to locate and where the process of robustly tracking changes is arduous.

My proposal

I propose to make markdown versions of each of our governance documents and host them in a GitHub repository.

The documents included would be (with preliminary markdown conversions for some):

  1. Governance Process: Stanford Crowd Research Collectivepreliminary Markdown version
  2. Operational Guide: Stanford Crowd Research Collectivepreliminary Markdown version
  3. Operational group membership: Stanford Crowd Research Collectivepreliminary Markdown version
  4. Code of conduct (once the document has been finalized)

To break consensus use this template. You may also install this template to your account by following these instructions.
