It would be great if there was an additional block that would create an additional distance between two blocks. For example, with a variable slider or pixel input as a value.

So far we tried to address this issue by introducing the automatic spacing features around motif areas. We are concerned that letting editors manually define empty spaces will cause them to arrange things in ways that do not work across different viewport sizes. In the past, we saw many cases where people tried to manually format text with line breaks and spaces to make it flow around parts of the background image, without realizing that they were just making it work for the very specific viewport width they were currently working with. For different screen sizes or mobile layout, everything looked broken.
Nevertheless, we are very interested in collecting additional use-cases that are not covered by our current features.
I'd love to hear some examples of situations where you found yourself wanting to insert spacing blocks.
In our reports, we always fade in the audio hint at the beginning. In order to equalise the distance between the upper and lower areas, empty lines are added from time to time.
In other places, when images without a motif areas are used, we often add blank lines to push the first text and content blocks down a little to find a middle ground between subject area and normal settings.
