I thought it might be good to get the conversation started on how best to design this model.

Goal: Predict the new label > 99% accuracy.

Steps:
Preprocessing

How should we normalize the data? So far, I have been standardizing the data to 5 wavenumber intervals, taking the first derivative (SG filter), scaling and centering it, and then taking the absolute value.

Model Choice:
