Comments
I've create a new pull request advised by Chris Aniszczyk but It's seems need to create the subcategory first |
K8up would fit under this new subcategory as well. |
@AndreyKozlov1984 can you help do this? |

Hi @marcelogigliotti 👋 We've recently migrated the CNCF landscape to v2. In this new version, there is no need to create the subcategory in advance. So you can go ahead and proceed with your PR 🙂 |

Hi,
I've started a conversation with Chris Aniszczyk and He advised me to start a new issue asking a possible to create a new subcategory for data protection under runtime.
Nowadays we are looking many enterprise workloads releasing new versions under kubernetes architecture.
All of these workloads require persistent data in large scale and keeping the same strategy of Data Protection.
Most of the enterprise data protection solutions nowadays are working focused on kubernetes deployments. Initially focused to keep a fast backup/restore of the kubernetes configuration but certainly the future will ensure the backup of these enterprise workloads under kubernetes.
All of these data protection solution are focusing on kubernetes data protection.
So my suggestion if it's possible to create a new subcategory under runtime dedicated about dataprotection. Nowadays some dataprotection solutions are using cloud native storage section
