2015 release will consist of MINIAOD (and AOD for data as the MINIAOD format at the time is not necessarily adequate). The MINIAOD was produced with CMSSW_7_6_3.

Check what changes are needed in POET to run over 2015 MINIAOD
The documentation for 2015 MINIAOD is in https://twiki.cern.ch/twiki/bin/view/CMSPublic/WorkBookMiniAOD2015

The first MINIAOD is being transferred (cernopendata/data-curation#98) and when done it can be accessed from eospublic in a similar manner as other open data files.

For CMSSW_7_6_7 &
RunIIFall15MiniAODv2/TTJets_TuneCUETP8M1_13TeV-amcatnloFXFX-pythia8 sample &
PhysObjectExtractorTool 2015MiniAOD branch
"combinedSecondaryVertexBJetTags" b-tagging variable from used in the code is empty, instead I found "pfCombinedInclusiveSecondaryVertexV2BJetTags" to be relevant.

Also, no generator weights extraction in the example, which is quite a significant thing.
