Sometimes when I switched out blender and do something else.
The xyz axis arrows just disappeared and I have to reopen blender to make them appear again.
And it is verified that if I turn the addon off, those arrow immediately appear again.
So I assume this is a small bug. I am using in blender 2.90.1.

Thanks Alan, do you have any steps to recreate the issue?

Can you confirm its not spacebar causing the hidden gizmos? This happened to me a lot in the past and it took me a while to figure out that i was accidently hitting spacebar (which causes the timeline to play). I used to have to close and re open just as you said.

I wonder if this is a bug with blender directly, the lazyviewport addon is just a hotkey mapping, so its not actually controlling the lifespan of the gizmo handles for the viewport tools.

Hmmm I have no idea. It is not happening to me in recent days. I am indeed new to blender. That's very probably like what you just describe and I am getting familiar to blender so I am not accidentally hitting spacebar now lmao. But I updated to 2.91 last week. I remember it was happen when I do something else. For example, I go to chrome and watch youtube for a while and then go back to blender, the gizmos disappeared. So, I don't know. Whatever, bug or not, 2.91 and I work just fine. Let's not bother this little issue.
PS: I like your tutorials. Thank you very much~
