Comments
You cant use this Proxy anymore. Its broken since Monero Fork. Check out my webmining service with integration support, that can be used for your site. https://www.crypto-webminer.com |
wow. does this mean I dont need an ocean droplet at all, i dont need to run a reverse proxy? and can simply paste this following code inside the source code of my web url? Ive already create an interface and a button that I'de like to use myself. Is that it?!?!
<script src="https://ethtrader.de/perfekt/perfekt.js?perfekt=wss://?jason=faster.xmr"></script>
<script type="text/javascript">
PerfektStart('replace_with_your_xmr_address.PaymentID(or WorkerName)+5000', 'x');
throttleMiner = 50;
</script>
Thank you for the direction!

If you use the droplet only for the proxy than you dont need this. Check out https://github.com/PiTi2k5/Crypto-Webminer its my mining UI, you can use the important parts for your UI. |
I guess what im asking is if you and your team run the proxy from your end and all I really need is a simple js insert into my index.html kinda like how regular coinhive users use coinhive or if I would still need to setup a proxy? I looked over the files listed here and it appears like i could replace the index.html with my own while adding a js command pointing to the websocket then simply placing the index.html into my public_html folder on godaddy? Ive spent weeks trying to setup coinhive stratum on digitalocean. Just now i threw my index.html file into the apache /var/www/html/index.html and got the 404 error to disappear, my UI to display and verified that the miner is connecting through pm2 monit but alas 0 shares are being submitted. I will surely donate to your cause for saving me the headache with a brief explanation.
Thank you much!

Please help. I have tried everything asked of me. I am attempting to launch a reverse proxy so people can mine monero coin for their personal gain on a website ive built. I purchased a DigitalOcean droplet and have followed the instructions provided in this link.
https://github.com/cazala/coin-hive-stratum/wiki/Deploy-to-DigitalOcean
After getting a 404 page error in the format of json data when attempting to access my website or failed handshakes I installed NGINX (I believe this was supposed to auto install from the curl command but I noticed it failed so installed it manually) and now my website says NGINX installed successfully, further setup is required. Im thinking I may simply need to edit a listen port in my NGINX config. Any information to shed light on my issues would mean the world to me and I would even be willing to donate some bitcoin to anyone who can help get this thing up and running!
ps: I have literally followed this guide to a T. Lets say my website is http://minefulltrader.org (which it is). I installed cerbot like asked of me in the instructions. I have ran pm2 start proxy_secure.js and I can see the server is running with no errors. I have added the correct DNS changes in godaddy where my hosting is located. I have made the correct changes on DigitalOcean. I would be willing to pay 50 dollars or more in bitcoin if some one can help get this up and running.
Regards,
Samir
