Currently, there is no way for a user to link via URL to a competency framework 'page' in the viewer. For example, a teacher wants to include a link to a particular competency framework in a syllabus...no can do...can't even browser bookmark.

In the CE viewer we can link to a particular credential description because they have a viewer-page URL (https://credentialengine.org/publisher/credential/6).

Starting here, a permalink to the framework is possible (of a sort).

http://cassproject.github.io/cass-editor/?ceasnDataFields=true&frameworkId=https://dev.cassproject.org/api/data/9fc3b4dc303d044a000452bc2f3bc269&server=https://dev.cassproject.org/api/

Next, we should discover the requirements that CE would want so that CE customers can display or permalink competency frameworks that are stored in the CER.

  • We can also explore enabling a permalink button within the CE Viewer/Editor parent page.

In addition, if the originator wants to iframe their framework in some external location:

  • We can iframe in the cass editor in a 'view' mode.
  • We can iframe in the "Framework Explorer", which is quite a bit more attractive, but would require customizations for the CTDL-ASN properties.

Going to move this to cass-viewer, since the editor is not the right place for this.

This is possible via the editor, but requires the integration to pass-through a url.
