Is Carp still maintained?

Hi! Is Carp project still maintained/developed? It seems that the latest commit is more than one year old and the repo has been pretty inactive for the past few years. I'm asking because I'm packaging Carp to a Linux distro, so just wondering if the packages should be dropped from the distro.

Also, I tried to join the gitter chat but got the following error:

MatrixError: [502] Failed to make_join via any server (https://gitter.ems.host/_matrix/client/v3/join/%23eriksvedang_Carp%3Agitter.im)

Is the issue is in Carp, Gitter or me?

Oh, the gitter link on readme was just wrong. The correct room is #carp-lang_Carp:gitter.im
