IMS login screen displayed with user logged in, blocking new logins #327

Submitted by Porcupine:

I noticed a couple times when on shift as either RSCI or Operator that the kiosk next to the ROC with a couple workstations for dirt rangers to file Incident Reports would occasionally seem to be displaying the login screen - but with a user already logged in - and would prevent a new user from logging in until the old user was explicitly logged out, after which it would work as expected.

Comment from Citizen:
The workstations load the IMS page by default in one tab of the browser. If a user logged into IMS on another tab while leaving the login screen open in a second tab, this could occur. Would it be desirable for the submission of a login request to log out a currently active user?

If someone is still logged in, they need to log out before a new user can log in. That's by design, not a bug.

You might want #219.

OK, the issue is apparently that one can go directly to the login screen, and it doesn't tell you that someone is already logged in.
