Contributing Guidelines

We would love to accept your contributions! You can start by contributing to Bundly by following these steps:

Building the project: README.md

  • Fork the GitHub Repo
  • $ git clone https://github.com/your-username/dash
  • $ cd dash
  • $ git remote add upstream https://github.com/bundly/dash.git
  • Find issues to work on here
  • You can filter issues via TAGS also
  • Create a new branch to work on the issue:
  • $ git branch branch-name
  • $ git checkout branch-name
  • Make your changes
  • Add logs about your change in CHANGELOG.md
  • $ git add .
  • $ git commit -m "your message"
  • $ git push origin branch-name
  • On https://github.com/bundly/dash, make a Pull Request

Create pull request

Please create a Pull Request from GitHub to bundly/dash: master. Do not forget to provide very brief Title and elaborative description of PR. Please link the PR to issue by adding #issueNumber at the end of the description.

PR Review

Your PR will get reviewed soon from the maintainers of the project. If they suggest changes, do all the changes, commit the changes, rebase the branch, squash the commits and push the changes. If all will be fine, your PR will be merged. That's it! Thank you for your contribution! Feel free to suggest changes to this documentation.

Note

Contribution can be very small, that does not matter. We even love to receive a typo fix PR. Adding feature or fixing a bug is not the only way to contribute. You can send us a PR for adding documentation, fixing typos or adding tests.
