btdig just shows the metadata of the torrent, that does not mean there are seeds/peers needed to distribute the content.

Edit: I'd recommend using a bt client like qBitTorrent, and look for a maintained public list of trackers. Add your magnet, then add the trackers from the tracker list to that. Once a seed or peer becomes available the bt client will be able to transfer the torrent itself. THEN if there are seeds (which are peers with 100% downloaded and sharing), and peers (usually downloading alongside yourself, and have pieces of the content)
