This is not a new issue. I was able to repro it in the last GA Zui v1.7.0 as well.
I was recently doing some general app testing that involved passing focus to other windows, such as opening flows in Wireshark and using the right-click Virus Total option. I noticed this puts Zui into a state where the right-click menu in the results pane is still active and I'm able to make selections in it, but then nothing happens.
In the attached video, I show this effect by just manually left-clicking once to an open Terminal window to grant it focus. Note that the "red rings" effect is for left-clicks and the "yellow rings" effect is for right-clicks.

I only see this issue on macOS. On both Windows and Linux, when another window has focus, it seems like just the act of right-clicking on the Zui window gives the full focus immediately back to Zui such that my right-click selection works fine. On macOS, it's like I need to make the explicit left-click to grant full focus back, but until then it feels "semi-focused" since I can manipulate the right-click menu.
