Basically just pointing users to the GitHub repository and issue tracker, with invitations to submit error, omissions, etc.

This guide should also give credit to anyone who has contributed (helpful comments, pull requests, etc)

Update, the README now has basic instructions on how to build the book locally.

Not clear if this material belongs in the rendered book or just in the github repo.
