Add remaining jobs to add co-occurrences to the knowledge base:

Annotate articles with an NER (e.g. stanford core nlp)
Match entities in articles to subjects (done in Add fuzzy matching for Entity Linking #648)
Extract co-occurrences of the linked entities from the annotated articles
Add co-occurrences to subject table
