[5.2.0] wiki freeze on editing

Hi, when the add on will be loaded, I can read the wiki normal.
But when I try to edit an site which will heave use the "PMID" tag it will fails with an timeout after 2 minutes.
Disable the add on, an reopen the same page for editing, will work.

In the logs of the server I don't see any error messages.
Here are the add on relevant settings:

$wgHTTPProxy = '<ProxyHost>:<ProxyPort>';
wfLoadExtension('PubmedParser');
$wgPubmedParserRemoteFetchMethod = 'curl';

If you are referencing many PMIDs on one page, you're probably experiencing rate limiting. Please refer to the README for further information: https://github.com/bovender/PubmedParser#ncbi-api-key

Please let me know if this does not solve the problem.

Hi @bovender , sorry for that late response.
In the meantime the wiki owner has switched to another solution, because getting the API key was to complicated.
