Describe the bug
The readme for macs is out of date

Additional context
On a m1+ mac you only need to use brew to install python3.9 and then setup the venv with
python3.9 -m venv --system-site-packages .venv & source .venv/bin/activate

The virtualenv command line you have is out of date and errors out.
