Last week I found out they are now adding MQTT Autodiscovery to Domoticz.
Want to focus in the coming time on getting the Gateway to work with that (EMS-ESP already uses it for Home Assistant), we may be able to get rid of this plugin completely.

Over the past weeks Gizmocuz added and tested Autodiscovery with the EMS Gateway/EMS-ESP.
It works much better than this plugin and you get ALL devices that are available in EMS-ESP in Domoticz instantly.

Please try out the new Autodiscovery feature of Domoticz instead of this plugin.
See https://bbqkees-electronics.nl/wiki/gateway/domoticz-configuration.html

(You can run them side by side with the existing plugin for a while).

This is great news.
I did a short test and it works with the latest Domoticz beta and my EMS-ESP gateway v2.2.2
106 devices have been discovered :)

same here, also works with the ESP 8266 version, no need to enable the 'Use Home Assistant MQTT Discovery’, only update to the last beta of Domoticz.
all heat pump parameters are found as devices. Great!
Thanks bbqkees for your support and efforts

Currently all parameters except for the climate controls are read only, I'm working with EMS-ESP to change the MQTT Discovery such that parameters that can be set (like some on/off stuff) will not be presented as sensors but actually as settable switches, selects and numbers.

In EMS-ESP v3.4 settable parameters will automatically be added.
