[Feature Request] Support for caching tiff files with Tile Server #62

I wonder if you guys have thought about adding geotiff file support to the Tile Server? Having the source be geotiff and then have it dynamically create tiles that can be stored as mbtiles or pmtiles. It would save us a step in having to create the tiles up front or provide a WMS service.

That's definetively a valid use use case. A good solution would currently require GDAL, which is a very heavy dependency. But there is ongoing work on a new Rust GeoTIFF implementation, which could be a good fit.

update settings on fly without restarting

Could you please open a separate issue for that? That's a probably a feature many people would like to have.
