Would be nice were cuttlefish_datatypes:from_string to be able to parse CIDR and handle raw IP (no port) notation.

Looking at the problem of ports, but I don't see a risk-free way of doing so. Maybe if/when we decide to make a 1.0 we can make a backwards-incompatible change like that

It would be great if it could also handle just any uri or at the very least domain:port. The latter is the one I most often have wanted to use with cuttlefish and been unable to. Unless there is a datatype I've missed that supports those?
