No longer works in Gnome Shell =>3.4

Tried the previous hack to make it work in 3.4 but this no longer works, ( #2 ) presume more significant changes have happened in Gnome Shell since this extension was released.

It's beyond my hacking abilities to fork/fix this one, and it appears ojo no longer maintains this, so is anybody else out there up for it? Shame as afaik this is the only panel app that can graphically monitor all cpu cores simultaneously, and did a perfectly good job of it!
