First request slow

It appears that there is a number threads about slow.

Is this "normal" for credentials providers?

My guess is that subsequent requests are ok, due to static caching in PHP.

Here is the test program:

Hi @bmtKIA6, could you please provide which credentials provider are you using? and are you running this on a EC2 instance or/and containerized application?

We are running in a container within the EKS.
I tried using:

• static credentials
• IAM roles linked to the service accounts in the namespace

I did enable the stats for the client and here is the info.

I think it comes down to the ssl handshake and that it takes forever.
