Currently a blue line is used to indicate where a tab will be placed when dragging.

atom-dark-ui

A possible improvement: Move tabs when you drag them like Google Chrome.

@torn4dom4n FYI: I updated your comment and added infos and screenshot. So that people don't necessarly have to click to atom/atom-dark-ui#65.
