Description

Maybe that's the problem with Firefox (I can't change it), but I'd appreciate at least some information what is the element (undisguised black caret) and how can I hide it.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Click on input field (it need to be focused)
  2. Click on input field again, somewhere near border
  3. Black caret appears and you no longer can add letters and numbers using regular keyboard (virtual keyboard is fine)
  4. Using arrow buttons you can change position of the customizable true caret, but the black one also moves showing left border of some current formula block.

Actual Behavior

There are two carets and one of them (black one) isn't real and disturbs normal interaction.

Expected Behavior

Always only one customizable true caret on the screen

Environment

MathLive version current 0.101.0

Operating System Ubuntu

Browser Firefox 129.0.1

I can't seem to make this happen. Is that something that you can reproduce here: https://cortexjs.io/mathlive/demo/ ?

Oh, that's my fault. I specified browser incorrectly. Sorry for the misinformation. My browser is Firefox 129.0.1.

Here it is (reproduction in the demo page):
