Bad CPU type on macOS Intel

Hello everyone!

I am trying to compile ArmorPaint on my Intel Mac but I get the following error after running

% cd armortools/armorpaint 
% ../armorcore/make --graphics metal

../armorcore/make: line 5: /Users/admin/armortools/armorpaint/../armorcore/tools/bin/macos/amake: Bad CPU type in executable
../armorcore/make: line 5: /Users/admin/armortools/armorpaint/../armorcore/tools/bin/macos/amake: Undefined error: 0

I am not sure what might be causing this. Thanks for any help on this issue!

I managed to get it to work using the instructions here: #1740 (comment)
