So I am trying to print on wooden circles right now with a known center and so I set the center of my circle at the home position I can confirm its the home when I use the jogging to move around a bit before I click homing to and it returns to the center of the wooden circle. However, whenever I start a print with the image centered on the grid, my laser moves a bit then returns back to the center but starts the bottom of the print. Not only that, but when I stop it within a few seconds and press the homing button, it moves upward some Y amount above my actual center as though it had created a new center during the g-code process.
Here I set the offset to what should roughly be the center.
On The main screen it shows my origin at roughly the center of the image.
When the G-Code Starts it takes the offset but only on the X-Axis, I do notice the Y-axis feels like its moving but nothing happens and instead it just returns to now what it believes is the bottom of the piece but is infact the center.
Just incase anyone asks, my Y axis moves perfectly fine when its doing the rest of the movements for the image, it seems to be that initial code line that is giving issues.
Edit:Ok I believe I have narrowed it down to a possible cause being the first command sent which is the x and y offset. When it sends G0 X-30 Y-27 (which is my offset) it appears to only be moving in the x direction and does not make any movements in the Y direction. So now it believes it is -27 units downward even though it hasnt moved at all along the Y axis.
