Hi everyone. BRAND NEW to this and I've been trying to figure out how to burn a picture.
I know how to load it into the program and then render it, when I save it it seems like the sizes are off for starters because I then open the file in lightburn and the size on the grid dosnt match the size from LaserGRBL.. I am assuming 1) the size is in inches and not MM... so that is the first problem. The second is when I make the inches assumption and try to save it at that size, I get basically a silhouette not a grayscale picture. Does anyone know how to go about adjusting the size so what i get on the screen matches the gcode?
Just as a note my machine is in a different room so I dont have it directly connected via USB. MUST i do that for the first print for the settings to be pulled in?
BTW I am zipping the code of the picture i want to print. I did it assuming inches and its supposed to be around 3"x3" but the grid in laser GRBL is saying 46.2x32.6 which isnt right either if its showing MM but saving in inches.
Sorry just trying to start as soon as possible to determine if its worth keeping the printer.
Thank you
