Have you read a contributing guide?

  • I have read CONTRIBUTING.md
  • I have searched the existing requests and didn't find any that were similar
  • I have considered creating a pull request instead and want to proceed

Clear and concise description of the problem

While I was taking notes, I found myself occasionally needing to have two windows open simultaneously to facilitate easier information transfer. However, I encountered a limitation: it appears that the AppImage version of the program does not allow the same application to be opened twice, and there isn't an option to have multiple windows within the same program.

I consulted the online manual and explored the shortcuts, but was unable to locate any relevant functionality.

Although this isn't an essential feature, I believe it would be a valuable addition to the program, enhancing its overall utility.

Thank you very much for your attention and for developing such a useful program.

Suggested solution

In addition, I would like to suggest adding a shortcut and a button in the top right corner that allows users to open two simultaneous windows, enabling the visualization and interaction with two different sites within the same workspace. While it's not necessary to include a drag-and-drop function in the initial implementation, I believe this would be an excellent enhancement to add further value.

I would also recommend automatically hiding the space selector to maximize the display area, and during its first use, highlighting the option to reduce the width of the widgets for better user experience.
