Have you read a contributing guide?

  • I have read CONTRIBUTING.md
  • I have searched the existing issues and didn't find any that were similar
  • I have considered creating a pull request with fixes instead of a bug report and want to proceed (I have enough on my plate already, sorry)

Current Behavior

Opening Anytype is slow (several minutes) and blocks anything on my PC, I can't open other apps or files until Anytype is done. Side effects is WSL service starts during Anytype launch.

Anytype was loading fine just yesterday.

Expected Behavior

Anytype should load under seconds.

Steps To Reproduce

  1. Fully quit Anytype client. Make sure WSL service is shutdown. (Or don't, it hangs up in either case.)
  2. Launch Anytype
  3. Observe PC suffocating for several minutes
  4. Anytype finally launches and WSL is on.

Environment

- OS: Windows 11 ([Process] os version: 10.0.22621 arch: x64)
- Version: [App] version: 0.42.29-beta isPackaged true

Anything else?

This is shot during the startup. Tons of cmd processes and bash, WSL process, python. pip & pip3 are launched every time, and Anytype continues hanging up after they execute. All processes seem to just idle.
