Steps to reproduce:

  • Create a new Chrome profile
  • Install Window.ai extension
  • Visit an app at https://www.skylightai.io/
  • Enter OpenAI GPT-3.5 API key, either by clicking the extension icon or via the popup when trying to use the app.
  • When I try to use the app, the popup asks me for the OpenAI GPT-3.5 API key even though I just entered it (the field for the API key is blank). (I see "PERMISSION_DENIED" denied error in JavaScript console for Robot Companion app).

Workaround:

  • After entering the OpenAI GPT-3.5 API key, select OpenAI GPT-4 as your model provider, then select OpenAI GPT-3.5 again. You will see the API key you entered.
