Why did development stop on this project

Development appears to have stopped on this project. I still find it to be a good idea so I'm wondering if there was a fundamental flaw in the design or did development just stop due to lack of time/interest?

Hi there,
Sorry for the really slow answer here, but basically it's been years since we worked on any rails site. We've spent the past couple of years doing primarily python or php sites. We are pretty heavily php focused at the moment. I would love to see this app maintained, or rewritten in a python or php framework.

I just forked this project and am merging in some work others have done. I am also working on a vagrant box for this, maybe if it's easy to run and mess around with some kind rails dev will fix some of the bugs and get this on a supported version of rails.

@correcthorse thanks for he explanation but still is there a installation / requirements read me for the version of ruby , rails , and the gems used for instance to get this working with current ruby version managers rvm / rbenv ?

@correcthorse Sorry for my slow reply too. Not sure why this is coming up in my notifications, just now. Anyway, thanks heaps for the explanation. Glad to hear it wasn't a technical issue that lead to development stopping.
