The Raspberry PI’s for these samples are running using Docker Containers.
Hypriot is a very small OS which is a minimal Debian-based OS that is optimized to run Docker. It made it dead easy use Docker on any Raspberry Pi by just downloading and flashing a prepared SD card image with HypriotOS.

You can find the utility to Flash the Hypriot Docker Image here.
Use the following commands to flash the SD Cards:
-
flash --hostname pi-client-01 https://github.com/hypriot/image-builder-rpi/releases/download/v1.5.0/hypriotos-rpi-v1.5.0.img.zip
