Alarms were rather standard in ELN1.

I think more alarm tones should be added to ELN2 and possibly the ability to color the alarm like wires.
Also;
The audio of an alarm could be muted in the UI in ELN1.
Maybe you could add a way to configure a signal condition in the alarm block to listen for; example a 25v signal to be strobe only and a 50 to be strobe and sound.

This could allow alarms to be silent but still lit. I have a world with an alarm system in my base to tell me when the generator runs out and i'm using backup power; and i'd love to have a way to make it shut up after ~30 seconds or something.
