Why does West Antarctica (also that weird region just downstream of the Ross Sea) cool in the WIND+meridional simulation?

Ideas to investigate this:

  • Plot transects in West Antarctica
  • Plot sea ice formation changes

Were there other suggestions we mentioned?

Ideas what to look at:

  • sea ice/melt changes
  • regional Ekman pumping
  • T/S changes on isopycnals
