GitHub Enterprise level controller and runners

Hello,

We use a self hosted GitHub Enterprise and we are trying to start using enterprise level controller and runners. We followed the docs and have setup all configurations:

• We created a k8s secret for the PAT to be used by the controller.
• We added the enterprise field to the RunnersDeployment definition.
• We have also setup the Webhook to set the correct POST payload.
  However, looking at the logs on the webhook service, I can see that it only looks for HRA (horizontal runner autoscaler) for repo and org targets.

I was wondering if maybe there are some additional configurations that have been missed in the docs and need to be made on the webhook definition to make it work?

For more context on what we have done to debug it so far:

• We have been able to manually scale the HRA and RunnerDeployment to create a runner.
• Once the runner was present, a job was able to run on it.
• Also in the past we have been able to successfully make it work using a GitHub app.

This makes me think that there is an issue when the webhook service tells the HRA that it needs to scale. However, I struggle to identify why. 😞

Any suggestions will be helpful.

It was an error on my side, sorry. Bumping the controller to v0.22.1 provides the necessary functionality for enterprise level controller and runner.
