I am using Markor as my primary markdown editor on Android, and one of my favorite feature is that it saves my changes instantly so nothing will be lost even if I kill the app. In fact there are cases that apps are accidentally or unwantedly killed by the system (chinese devices are notorious for killing apps aggressively).
Also I found that the save button only shows for a new note, and all text I wrote will be lost if I performed a back gesture without saving it. I expect new note be saved when I perform a back and no save button is needed, just like most note apps do (most new notes are intended to be saved, so better to save it rather than asking users to explicitly perform the save).
