Random crashes on windows. How can I get an error/debug log?

The program seems to crash at random while downloading on windows. The selection doesn't seem to matter, neither does the queue. My log.txt file remains empty, and even when I launch the exe with command prompt/powershell I'm not able to get any text output.

Is there a way to save logs on windows, or a debug mode? Because of the random nature and no longs I can't really give any information that might lead to a fix.
I can say it happens frequently enough that if I queue 15 items, it most likely won't finish.

same, been trying for weeks to download but when i go to look at the progress the app is completely closed. log.txt is empty.
