Make shell scripts executable after cloning #28

Currently, the shell scripts are not executable upon cloning the repo.

After trying to execute the shell script, I get a permission error. Here is the code to reproduce:

./download_plates.sh

To fix this, type:

chmod +x <shellscript>

and push it into the repo.

I'd be more than happy to do this. It's an easy fix! Feel free to assign me to this issue!
