Describe the bug, provide any errors
When putting on any kind of armor while playing on a server with protocol manually set to 1.8.x, the armor hunches refuse to show while the armor itself in inventory is fully present.

Is this happening specifically on ViaFabric?
(Optional)

  • It seems to not happen when using ViaVersion/ViaBackwards/ViaRewind on other platforms

How can we reproduce it?

  • 1: Have a server that is on 1.8.x instead of latest version,
  • 2: Join the server with protocol set to 1.8.x instead of a newer version,
  • 3: Try to put on any armor you want.

Expected behaviour

  • The armor hunches are shown just like in the present versions such as 1.17.x.

Screenshots

  • Will use a video clip instead since it's slightly more clear to notice:
mc.mp4

ViaVersion Dump

Additional server info

  • The server does not use a proxy such as bungeecord,
  • Spigot 1.8.8 with all 4 Via* plugins installed while client has both fabric-api and viafabric,
  • ViaFabric is set to client-side mode,
  • This issue seems to relate to issue #2145 but also seems to affect fabric servers that have both viabackwards and viarewind in them - however using 1.9 protocol and newer instead will make the hunches show again.
