Based on conversations with John, Dave and Carla.

Change the default portal home page to the Advanced Options page. Combine the All of these words, Any of these words, None of these words into the All of these words box. Including language to explain how to incorporate additional syntax to achieve desired results...

Alternately, offer an advanced option from here that expands and collopases (like in a circle on map option), where the Any of these words and None of these words can be expanded or collapsed.
