I am looking for an update on why updates for VSCodium-Insiders continue to lag behind VSCodium.

I saw these messages in Issue #148 back in Nov 2022:

The insider releases seem to lag behind vscode, yet the workflows appear to run (they just don't find changes).
Are there still issues to work out or is something temporarily awry?

No, it's failing due to the need of updated patch:

BUT clearly this has not been fixed because as of today, VSCodium sits at 1.93.0.24253, while VSCodium-Insiders is at 1.93.0.24242-insider. Any thoughts on a resolution to this?

I thought that this had been updated to be a manual process? It seems that without your updates, the Insiders version will not update itself to the latest Insiders version from within the app, so unfortunately "Insiders" becomes somewhat redundant when it is regularly superseded by the regular channel. Is there no solution for this?
