I don't know why by the extension now show "Text will be here" and nothing happen when I copy something to the clipboard

I can access the settings if it help to solve

I have remove and reinstalled the extension with no resolution

Another extension doing the same thing is working can catch the clipboard

I just experienced the same on a fresh Ubuntu 24.04 installation. Extension worked for the first 24 hrs but then showed that "Text will be here" issue (after playing around with other extensions? Cannot remember exactly when it started).
I have done what was recommended somewhere ("rm -rf ~/.cache/[email protected]") and it seems to be working again but lost all clipboard history and especially my pinned items

Same on NixOS unstable. I wonder what we can do to debug this.

Search for UTF8_STRING in the registry.txt file and replace it with "text/plain;charset=utf-8".

I am also nixos. Extension say "Text will be here".

In gnome logs I got this:

JS ERROR: Gio.IOErrorEnum: Error opening file /etc/sysctl.d: Is a directory
fromJSON/bytes</<@file:///etc/profiles/per-user/afzl/share/gnome-shell/extensions/[email protected]/registry.js:245:51
